Deleting Customer and Items
The most recent TransActPOS updates contained important improvements in terms of deleting customers and items. Here is more detail!
Deleting Customers
Customers are now able to be deleted. In the past, you could either mark them as "active" or "inactive." Keep in mind that in order to delete a customer, all invoices must be paid. Once the invoices are paid and the customer is deleted, any customer history is moved to the CASH customer account. 
*Multistores do not have the ability to delete customers.
Deleting Items
Previously, if you deleted an item, the "resellable" box would become unchecked, and the "not available" box would become checked. Deleting of an item now combines the item's transactions into an item named "__'Class'__(the class)__TX"  for a taxed item or "__'Class'__(the class)__NT" for a non-taxed item. An example of this would be "__Class__30__TX." These item names will appear in the Sales by Class Report. Keep in mind that an item can ONLY be deleted if its on-hand quantity is 0. If the on-hand quantity is a negative number, the Delete button will be greyed out. You must adjust the on-hand quantity to 0 and refresh the screen for the button to be available. You can search for the deleted item history by searching for the newly created item name.
