Maps - Initial Set-Up and Use
Before using this feature, you will want to make sure it is turned on! To do this, click on your System module, and then click Workstation. This will bring up your Workstation Settings. Once you are there, click the General tab. Near the top and in the center of the page, you will see a checkbox called Display Map Button. Make sure that is checked. Once you have checked it, exit out of TransActPOS and get back in to ensure the update occurred.
Now that you are set up, it's time to use the feature! Open up the customer file and search for the desired customer. Once the customer is pulled up, you will notice a button called Map next to the company field.
This button works in two ways. You can left click for a map of the customer's location...
Or you can right click for instant directions from your store to the customer!
That's all there is to it! It's easy to use, and best of all...fast!
