New Rental Setup Options
A few versions back, Rental options within System | Company Setup were limited to 3 Rental Manager pages. Since then, we have added a fourth Rental Manager page with some additional options to further benefit your Rental operation. In this week's newsletter, we are going to briefly look at the options on this screen.

Rental Rates Utilized
These rates are the rates your rental items use. Simply check the rates you wish to use for your rental program. Please note that if you have a rate (for example, 24 Hours) selected, EVERY rental item in your inventory MUST have a price value listed for this rental rate.
Utilize Rental Calendar
Back in newsletter #75 (look in our Archive for more information), we talked about the new Rental Calendar. To turn this option on, simply check the box on Rental Manager Pg 4 in Company Setup.
Allow invalid rental times and stock levels
Depending on how your system runs, you may want to setup check out rental times when you have now rental items available, but you know one is due back before the desired check out time. Enabling this option will enable you to allow invalid rental times and stock levels.
I.D. required for rental
Checking this option will require the customer to present their ID for a rental. This includes driver's license, employed by ID, or other IDs your store accepts.
