When we began publishing this newsletter, we introduced you to some shortcuts and quick tips that can help make your use of the software more productive. In this week's newsletter, we are going to look at a few of these quick tips that can make your day much easier.

Plus "+" Item Add Shortcut Calendar Shortcuts
When you are creating an invoice at POS | Ring
Sale, you can increase the quantity of an item by simply entering a plus sign (+) in the Enter Item field and the currently selected item's quantity will be increased by one.
In addition to this, you can change the quantity of the currently selected item to any number by entering an asterisk (*) and the quantity you wish to change the item to and press enter. For example, if you enter "*5" (without the quotes), the selected item's quantity will change to 5.

At any point when you are entering a date, there are a number of shortcuts that can help in quickly changing the date entered. Listed below are the shortcuts you can use:
- C - Brings up an interactive calendar in which you can choose the date (see image below)
- M - First day of the month (repeat as required for prior months)
- H - Last day of the month (repeat as required for future months)
- Y - First day of the year (repeat as required for prior years)
- R - Last day of the year (repeat as required for future years)
- ( + ) - The plus sign will forward the date by one day
- ( - ) - The minus sign will go back by one day
