Every now and then, we have a few topics that don't really have anything to do with each other, but we feel should be brought to your attention. We use these weeks as a "grab bag" of topics to better serve you and bring to light a feature you didn't know about with TransActPOS. 

Comments on Customer Statements
If your store uses the accounts receivable module, chances are you have run customer statements at some point. Did you know that you can assign a customer specific comment to appear on that particular customer's statement when TransActPOS generates them? To set this up, click AR | Customer File and locate the customer you wish to assign a statement comment to. Once the customer is located, click the Notes tab and click the Edit button. Once you are in edit mode, you can click in the "Statement Comment" field and begin typing a comment to appear on the customer's statements. Once you have entered it, click Save. Now, any time statements are run, any comments entered for customers will appear on their personalized statement.
Ordering - Max Exceeded
If you are ordering merchandise for your inventory, but order more than you are allowed to, the item ordered will be cancelled. The image below shows a listing of items on a purchase order and one of the items have been zeroed out and show "Cancelled - Max Qty Exceeded" to the right of the line item. This notifies you that you have ordered more than you were allowed and the entire order for that particular item is cancelled.
Switching Internet Providers
If you happen to switch internet providers and you utilize PCCharge, you may notice that it doesn't work anymore. This is because we set up static IP addresses for the workstations. This is more of a reminder than a how to, but if you do intend or have switched internet providers, please give us a call and let us know. This way, we can change any settings and keep you running smoothly.
