Emailing Invoices/Statements
With the purchase of the TransActPOS Email Server module, you can email invoices and/or statements to a company within your system. Checking Email Invoices and/or Email Statement within AR | Customer File | Settings tab will email the respective document to the email listed under the Main tab. Setup of this function may require assistance from technical support.

The Company in question can also have a list of contacts assigned to it. These contacts are authorized (or not) to purchase product from your store for the Company above. The email listed for the Company will be the only one to receive invoices and/or statements.

Within the 3.035/2.275 update of TransActPOS, you can setup individual contacts to receive invoices and/or statements via email as well as the email stated in the Main tab for the Company. To enter an email address, locate the contact within the contact list and select the Properties tab. Enter the email address and check the Email Invoice and Email Statement options as desired.

Also within the Customer File, you can setup Jobs. Jobs allow you to track sales for a specific task. For example, a Company could have a job called "House Remodel." The Company can buy materials and assign the invoice to this job to keep track of how much and what types of materials were used. After the House Remodel is complete, the system can report on the total amount spent on the job. To locate this report, go to AR | Customer File | Jobs | Properties | Print Job | Generate and Display or Print.

Also in the newest update(3.035/2.275), contacts can also receive emails for specific jobs. In the contacts list, there is a "Jobs List" button. Clicking this allows you to select the jobs the contact wishes to be emailed invoices about. The same can be done from the Job listing. Clicking the "Contacts" button on a certain job will allow you to select multiple contacts to assign to the job.
