E-Learning
E-Learning is a service that we offer as a part of training. It allows you to take the training into your own hands, taking it as slow as you need and testing your comprehension with a built in quiz at the end of each lesson. This service also allows you to maintain a record of lessons that you and/or the employees at your store have taken (or have yet to take).
Each lesson begins with a brief overview, narrated by our main trainer Cyndie. This introduces you to the subject matter, while not overloading you with information. As the lesson progresses, you will learn how to perform the task the lesson is designed to teach. Most lessons have a video demonstrating the subject matter within the program. These videos are generally 3-5 minutes, but some of the subjects may take a bit longer to show. Once the video has concluded, there is a short quiz, testing your comprehension on the topic. At the end of the quiz, the system will give you a score which is documented electronically. You can also print these certificates out and place them in a personnel file, showing all of the courses that have been completed. You can see an example of one below.

You can access the E-Learning site right now by clicking the following link or the E-Learning link above. When you reach the log in screen, type "newsletter" as the user name and "newsletter" as the password. This will take you to the main screen. There are a few lessons for everyone to try on this page. Clicking the title of the lesson will take you to the specific lesson screen. Once on this screen, click the title of the lesson under "Lectures" in the middle of the screen. This will pop up the interactive lesson. Follow the instructions to complete the lesson.
There is a few lessons set up under the test account so that all subscribers to this newsletter will have access to, but on LearnTAPOS.Net, there are dozens of lessons with new ones being added. Combined with our one-on-one training, E-Learning provides a additional avenue of learning various subjects within TransActPOS. The site also provides a way to re-familiarize yourself with a specific subject.
