Space is limited. Priority will be given to those that register as a community team. 
The 2015 Minnesota Summit on Prenatal Substance Use and Infant Exposure aims to create a common understanding of substance use prevention, substance use disorder in women and the effects of substances on infants. 

The Summit will also serve as a springboard for building community partnerships among those providers whose programming supports pregnant women and families with young children.  Through participation in the Summit, community teams will have an opportunity to begin the journey of collaboration around the concepts of a recovery oriented systems of care (ROSC) framework and a recovery continuum beginning with prevention through long-term recovery and resilience.

Such teams may include:

  • Addiction treatment
  • Public health - MCH Home Visiting
  • Child welfare
  • Financial support(MFIP)
  • Justice system & family drug court
  • Corrections
  • Community recovery
  • Public housing

  • Faith based organizations
  • State, Tribal & Local governments
  • ATOD Prevention specialists/workers
  • Urban American Indian organizations
  • Peers and Recovery Coaches
