 On Wednesday September 17th from 4pm-7pm, we invite you to join in our success story. Meet up with 40 of our current Clients for an interactive evening showcase. You'll enjoy discovering more about their entrepreneurial determination, as well as the products and services that are driving them towards commercialization at the AC.
You'll also enjoy cocktails, snacks, guest speakers, and even a few one-minute pitches to keep you entertained and intrigued.
Building better businesses since 2006, the AC has developed and nurtured over 130 early-stage technology startups.

Capacity Waterloo Region is now Capacity Canada
 Capacity Waterloo Region is now Capacity Canada, a name change that reflects the organization's reach beyond its home borders.
"The success we've had building stronger non-profit organizations in our region has been noticed and admired elsewhere," says Cathy Brothers, Capacity Canada's executive director-in-residence. "The need we fill isn't unique to Waterloo Region."
Founded in 2009, Capacity Canada offers a range of services to help charitable non-profits build capacity to change direction or take on new programs.

The Accelerator Centre is really picking up 'Momentum!'
We're excited to announce a new offering at the AC to support entrepreneurs with an idea. The program is called Momentum and it's designed to help very early-stage startups validate their business idea and prepare them for entry into our Accelerator Program.
Momentum is a 9-12 month in-house program that guides entrepreneurs through a structured market validation process layered with mentoring, education, and networking opportunities. This new program allows us to assist those entrepreneurs who previously wanted to apply for the AC but were too early. Think of Momentum as the first step and the Accelerator Program as the next step for building your business.

Victory for BigRoad in the U.S.
BigRoad has recently been celebrating a major regulatory victory in the U.S. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has issued a statement declaring electronic logbooks and signatures are now legal, qualifying for records of duty (RODS) compliance status.

Clearpath Robotics Pledges Not To Make Killer Robots
Clearpath Robotics has teamed up with the Campaign to Stop Killer Robots which seeks to block people from having access to or creating lethal technology that does not require human intervention. Check out the article featured on CBC here.
Clearpath also just announced they have received the Silver StevieŽ Award in the Company of the Year category in the 11th Annual International Business Awards.
