Greetings!

MeCan you believe there are less than two weeks left in 2012? Soon we'll start making New Year's resolutions which, sorry to say, probably won't last very long (how's that gym membership working out?). Why not set your sights on something you'll actually look forward to doing and experiencing? Why not treat yourself to a trip of a lifetime?

Did you know that an African tour and safari is almost always in the top five of bucket list travel? A safari/tour to Southern or Eastern Africa will be absolutely life changing, spiritually uplifting and culturally rich. Enter Ntaba Tours.

Owned by native South Africans, Robin & Stella Mountain, Ntaba Tours is located in Kentucky, however they work directly with their African based suppliers to offer very competitive pricing. They specialize in wildlife safaris and adventure travel to Southern and Eastern Africa. Ntaba Tours caters to the medium to luxury travel market, and operates safaris in Botswana, Kenya, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania and Zimbabwe. They promote eco-friendly and sustainable tourism by using their own reliable, tested, and strong network of registered local specialists, guides and drivers.

Ntaba Tours designs fully customized safaris for independent travelers, as well as private groups. They also offer scheduled departures which Robin, a qualified and registered South African tourist guide, personally leads. Ntaba Tours offers land only or land/air included tours.

While Ntaba Tours certainly has a much smaller megaphone and advertising budget (that sounds familiar!), their product is equally exceptional and very personal. Over the last several years, I've had the privilege of meeting small tour operators like Ntaba Tours who rely on the travel agent community, and we're more than happy to oblige. Their product is outstanding, and provides an exceptional value to anyone wishing to experience an African tour and safari. A life changing experience indeed.

Call Ticket to Travel today for reservations and information on 2013 tours and safaris with Ntaba Tours. You'll be very glad you did!

So, about that New Year's resolution...

Best,

Interview with Ntaba Tours/Safaris

MW:  How did Ntaba Tours get its name and how long have you been in business?

NT:   The word "Ntaba" means Mountain, our last name in the Language Zulu. Stella and I speak six languages. We started Ntaba Tours eight years ago.

MW:  Why did you create Ntaba Tours?

NT:    Both Stella and I have a passion for Africa being fifth generation Africans.  It is our privilege to share this passion with your USA clients traveling to Africa with Ntaba Tours.

MW:  Are the tours escorted? How many people per tour?

NT:   All of our tours are escorted. Robin escorts groups of 12+;  groups with less are combined, with your permission, to make a group of 12. Ntaba Tours does not only offer group travel to Southern Africa, but we also arrange customized trips for individual (non-group) travel.

MW:  When is the best time to visit South Africa?

NT:   April/May - Fall in South Africa and Oct./Nov. - Spring in South Africa.

MW:  What makes Ntaba Tours different from other tour operators in that region?

NT: Ntaba Tours, being USA based, is here for your clients before, during, and after their travel to Africa!  We offer a unique and personal experience to Africa. Ntaba Tours does not offer cookie-cutter trips because each tour/trip is uniquely designed. What makes Ntaba Tours different is that at least one of the owners of Ntaba Tours accompanies all groups of 12 or more. For non-group travel we have our well-established network of registered guides who take good care of our clients. For each group that Robin accompanies, as an accomplished photographer, he gives each member of your group a disc with the photos of their safari from beginning to end. He also adds some of his award winning photos.  This is complimentary to each client traveling with Ntaba Tours.

MW:  If there's one thing you'd like people to know about Ntaba Tours what would that be?

NT:   We don't send you to Africa - We TAKE you there!  Within eight years, Ntaba Tours has built a reputation for personal service, quality, value, customer safety and satisfaction, and for creating life-long memories. A common comment at the end of virtually every group is - Wow, we certainly got more than we paid for!

WISHING YOU A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
