Interview with Christy Crampton for her 30th wedding anniversary celebration:
MW: Why did you & Steven decide to celebrate your 30th wedding anniversary by taking a trip?
CC: It coincided with Sandy's birthday, and Joe and Angeline had just gotten engaged. When you go away for something you really feel like you're escaping the stresses of everyday life. It allows you to do something really fun together; relax and reconnect with each other and your friendships. Mexico is also an excellent value.
MW: Did you plan on inviting friends or how did that evolve?
CC: It really grew out of all the celebrations that were happening around the time of our anniversary so it was a triple celebration.
MW: Would you do a big trip like this again for this type of special occasion?
CC: Yes!! In fact, the second to last day of our vacation everyone agreed and discussed doing it again next year at the same hotel. We all had a fabulous time!
MW: What did you think of Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun in the Riviera Maya for your anniversary celebration?
CC: It's a very beautiful resort! Everyone bent over backwards to be helpful and hospitable. Everything about the resort was great. We're all looking forward to going back again.
MW: If you could celebrate your 40th anniversary any way you wish, and money was no object, what would you do and where would you go?
CC: If we didn't go back to Secrets Maroma, then I'd really love to do a 30-40 day world cruise! I'd love to see places in Asia. Friends are welcome!
