Extended Experience

The first semester Extended Experience Physical Education (EEPE) application period ended on September 14, 2012. Failure to return a completed application form resulted in removal of EEPE from the student's schedule. Fall verification forms will be posted on the web on December 10, 2012. These forms verify that the experience has been completed and are due back to Conestoga's Main Office by January 11, 2013.    Failure to return a competed verification form will result in a grade of U on the report card.

The second semester EEPE applications will be posted on the school website on December 10, 2012.   The second semester application forms are due back to the Conestoga Main Office on or before February 1, 2013. As in the first semester, seniors who do not have a completed application submitted by this date will be placed in a gym class. Sophomores and juniors who have not turned in an application by February 1 will have EEPE removed from their schedules and will have to add an additional gym at some time in future. Senior verification forms for Semester II are due in the Main Office on April 19, 2013 due to Senior Internship beginning May 6, 2013. Sophomore and Junior verification forms are due in the main office on May 31, 2013. Please remember that Conestoga's graduation requirements include credit for eight physical education courses.

COLLEGE POSSIBILITIES, LLC was founded by Rachel B. Sobel, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Ph.D. in Counselor Education. She has more than 30 years of experience working with adolescents and their families as a psychotherapist, college counselor and educator. Rachel's background and experience provide her with a unique perspective on consulting with families and students with learning disabilities. We work with students who are high school age or college transfers and students who are re-entering college. We assist students with learning, medical or psychiatric diagnoses. Some of these include but are not limited to ADHD, language-based as well as nonverbal learning disabilities, Asperger's Disorder and dyslexia. Rachel regularly visits colleges around the country to meet with representatives from the Office for Students with Disabilities and college admissions counselors to learn about new programs and available resources. Additionally, she attends national and regional conferences about trends in college admissions, post-secondary programs and learning disabilities to remain current about the college search, application and admissions process.
