Foreign Exchange Program

Conestoga has been participating in the American Field Services (AFS) Year Program for more than forty-five years! This year we welcome six AFS students who will participate in the program. The students live with local families, attend claExchange studentssses and participate in activities at Conestoga as they learn more about the United States and share their cultures with the T/E community. They join our increasingly diverse student population and contribute to the district's long term goal of preparing our students to "flourish in a diverse and dynamic world."

The students this year are:

Guisy from Italy

Michel from Germany

Anna from the Czech Republic

Gaston from Argentina

Mami from Japan

Anna from Germany

Parents interested in finding out more about these programs, about hosting students from abroad or about similar programs for American students in other countries, should contact Mrs. Carolyn Veith, local AFS representative, at (610) 688-5146 or at rlveith@verizon.net. Conestoga students and families are encouraged to share family activities with these students and welcome them to the Conestoga community.
