Principal's Corner
Dear SVE Families, Our KPREP scores from Spring 2014 were released and Summit View Elementary is proud of our overall scores. Our overall score is a 70.3 and we are labeled as a PROFICIENT school. We are very proud of our school's accomplishments and success!! Continuous improvement will remain the priority at Summit View Elementary. Over the next few weeks, we will continue to analyze our assessment scores and identify areas of need. We currently have SBDM committees that meet after school once a month from 5:00-5:45 p.m. to discuss school improvement. If you are interested in being part of our committees, please email me at Lesley.Smith@kenton.kyschools.us or call the school at 859-363-4700.
In the next few weeks, the KPREP assessment scores for students in grades 4 and 5 will be sent home. We will also celebrate everyone's hard work and accomplishments at a school assembly. Thanks again for the continuous support you provide each and every day. We know the collaboration and relationship between home and school is key to our continued success. If you have any questions about the assessment scores, please feel free to contact your child's teacher or the office.
