International Sleep Apnea Genetics Group Pushes Boundaries of Biomedical Informatics
CCTS REDCap expert Heather Lansky has developed the standard survey format that will be the "data backbone" for the Consortium, leveraging REDCap's data dictionary module and word processing applications to develop a translation of the survey in each language.
This innovative approach allowed the survey to be provided to study participants in their native language while at the same time accommodating a common platform for use by study staff. The international consortium spans five continents and is working together to unravel the genetic basis for the condition.
