Study Notes: Research, with benefits.

Sometimes the extra medical attention received while participating in a research study can improve your health in unexpected ways.

Check out the latest post on Study Notes, a blog that gives potential study volunteers an inside look at the research study experience.

CCTS RESOURCE HIGHLIGHT
StudySearch: A research participant recruitment tool

StudySearch is a web-based searchable listing of clinical research studies at OSU that are recruiting participants. Postings include basic descriptive information: study title, purpose, eligibility criteria, and contact information.

While the study must be IRB approved, the posted language does not. As part of the CCTS recruitment toolkit, StudySearch was launched in January 2011. A revised version will be deployed April 2013. Currently, it hosts approximately 190 studies and receives about 1500 unique visitors per month.

For more information and/or to post a study please contact Blair Gonsenhauser or call 614-293-HERO
