The Farmers Market is Open!
The Farmer Market returns! The Jamaica Farmers Market showcases fresh fruits, produce and herbs. This season, look forward to free tastings, cooking demonstrations and recipes. Best of all, visitors to the market can enjoy an hour of free parking while they shop.
The market is open Friday and Saturday from 8A-4P until the end of the season in November. It is located at 160th Street just off Jamaica Avenue. Read more.
Mark your calendars. The annual corn roast at the market is August 10th.

Expanded Menu @ Golden Krust!
The Caribbean food you love at Golden Krust just got better. The Krust has expanded its menu to reflect the changing neighborhood and health trends. Diners can now order pizza or have a REAL FRUIT fruit smoothie or build a salad at its bar. Don't worry, your favorites, like patties and oxtails, remain on the menu!
The changes at Golden Krust aren't only on the inside! Check out the store's new exterior. The new facade gives the store a 'City Feel' while allowing customers an unobstructed view both inside and out.

JAMS Fest is Coming!
Its a two day festival of the best mix of culture, music, shopping and fun. JAMS Fest is coming! Day one of live evening concerts is August 2. It takes place at Rufus King Park on 153rd and Jamaica Avenue. The streets of Jamaica Avenue from Parsons Boulevard to 169th Street, open up on August 3.
