SEE Change...As it happens
March 2013
Greetings!

It is perhaps no coincidence that our March Issue, celebrating our 3rd Anniversary, is largely focused on the concept of outcome - growing it, measuring it, and celebrating its ups and downs.

And with the sustainability of our communities another desired outcome, Brett Wilson shares his views on how to encourage a more giving corporate sector. Of course, with the dreaded tax season around the corner, we offer some smart HST tips for entrepreneurs, courtesy of our financial correspondent, Shannon Simmons.

With each passing year, we look back to see how far we've come - and forward to see where we're heading. Perhaps our March Issue can inspire you to do the same. It's an exciting, dynamic time for SEE Change. And we're delighted to have you along for the ride.

Find it all in the March issue of SEE Change Magazine.

failure

I admit it. I've failed...a lot. I've made bad decisions. I've tried things that didn't work out as planned. I've watched my efforts result in nothing. If you think I'm crazy to publicly relate this information to you, you're not alone. A quick Google search of the word "success" yields twice the results (almost a billion) as does the term "failure". And most of the top hits for failure are concerned with trying to avoid it at all cost. Clearly, we humans are not big fans of this F-word.

Read on to find out the 5 reasons why you should embrace failure, and how to gain access to our exclusive failure report coming out later this month.

Opportunity Social innovation is a fast-paced game. An idea can easily become redundant or irrelevant if not executed quickly and extraordinarily well. In this ever-shifting landscape, opportunities for everything from workshops to training, grants to loans, and networking events to outright competitions, simply abound. So how does one choose with which opportunities to engage?
