All USAi hosted games for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are canceled due to field conditions (and wind chill Saturday morning).  Avon Soccer Complex is completely under water.  Brownsburg Soccer Complex has the river running through it.  Northwestway Park fields and Mary & John Geisse Soccer Complex fields are too soaked to play.  We posted some pictures of the completely flooded Avon Soccer Complex on USAi website, Facebook page, and Twitter feed.  Amazing.

USAi in house Rec Leagues games for 4/20/13 are rescheduled to 4/28/13 plus 4 hours.  Teams will use the 4/20 published schedule and add 4 hours and play on 4/28/13.  Important to remember Rec games on 4/27 follow the 4/27 schedule.  Get more info from Coach.

Until we can safely get into the Avon Soccer Complex to assess the damage, we can only guess how long the cleaning and restoration process will take.  Before we can have opening day for Hendricks Rec Program on 27th, the soccer fields will have to be cleaned.  It's going to take a lot of work, and we (always) count on you and all USAi families to chip in however you can.  This is another "lead by example" opportunity to show our children how the community pulls together to organize and manage a youth soccer program for them.  We will write and post more information on how/when volunteers are needed to clean Avon Soccer Complex.  (If your team trains there next week, be sure to police the field prior to playing.)  The snack bar and the big barn are both flooded and will need damaged goods removed. 

We believe the strength of United Soccer of Alliance is volunteerism.  Always strong and more robust than ever.  Indy Burn Cup 2013 was a great success with 225 travel teams from 7 states with 10,000 guests....expertly hosted by USAi Travel parents.  Fabulous.
