Dear Club President, Director of Coaching
cc: Coach, Team Manager
Your team and your Club's U9-U19 teams are invited to the 3rd annual Indy Burn Cup, April 5-7, 2013. As you help your travel teams organize their Spring 2013 season, will you please consider sending your teams to the Indy Burn Cup? We had over 230 teams each of the last 2 years. That means we will have good, better, best levels of competition and be able to provide a great weekend of soccer for each of your teams. We now have Indianapolis Visitors & Convention Association booking great hotels for our out of town guests.
Register by January 15, 2013 and save $75 off registration fees.
Please be sure to block out the weekend in your league registration or reschedule this weekend after you get your league schedules. Important note for Indiana Champions League ICL teams: you will not have a league game this weekend as games so please come play.
Indy Burn Cup is a great pre-season or early season tournament. Indy Burn Cup offers 3 Academy - Round Robin 6v6 games for U8-U9-U10 teams**, and 3 different skill levels of play for each age/sex U11-U19. Please attend because your teams' tournament experience will be a fun one.
Why should your teams spend their weekend at the Indy Burn Cup on the lush, green fields of the Mary & John Geisse Soccer Complex, Eagle Creek Park, and Northwestway Park, Indianapolis?
- Experienced operators. For 18 years we've hosted the best Indiana pre-season fall tournament, Pike Fest, which attracts over 200 teams annually and the 230+ team Indy Burn Cup in April.
- Quality competition. Indy Burn Cup plans to offer multiple divisions per age group which ensures quality competition for all skill levels.
- Great Refs. Indy Burn Cup utilizes only great referees, assigned by Indiana's best assignors Ray Sahm and Dave Howard.
- Indy Parks. Indy Burn Cup is held in 3 beautiful Indy Parks: the Mary & John Geisse Soccer Complex, Eagle Creek Park; Eagle's Crest fields and Northwestway Park. The Parks are a couple blocks from I-465, I-65, and I-74 on the NW side of Indianapolis.
- Great facilities. The Mary & John Geisse Soccer Complex, Eagle Creek Park is one of the finest soccer facilities in central Indiana.
- Discounted hotels and shopping centers are 10 to 15 minutes from the fields.
- Indy Burn Cup is centrally located as Indianapolis is less than 2 or 3 hours away from Cincinnati, Louisville, Chicago, Dayton, Columbus, and Champaign. We have many teams from Michigan.
- Team Manager friendly: check in anytime before first game including typical Friday night or at the HQ tent an hour before first game. Only one unique form: tournament roster.
- We schedule Friday night games for local teams only and only when necessary. Let us know if you prefer a Friday night game.
- Out of town teams: we've lined up good rates at close by hotels including several with pools for "team bonding experience." Teams needed hotel rooms MUST use Indianapolis Visitors & Convention Association no cost booking service.
- There is a shopping center just blocks from the hotels with movie theaters, ice cream shops, pizza and pasta and full menu restaurants, coffee shops, and a large sporting goods store (Dick's).
- Full concessions on site including food, drink, kettle corn, snow cones, Indy Burn Cup apparel (look for pre-order sale), both brand name and non brand name apparel, soccer gear. Customize your gear on site.
- Sports Performance Center trainers on site during games.
- ON SITE FREE PARKING, FREE ADMISSION.
- U11-U19 teams play to championship with trophy for each player and coach.
- Each U9-U10 player receives a trophy.
