NEW Applied Learning Portal
Job Shadowing

Register with the Applied Learning Portal and help Missoula youth develop the skills they need to enter the 21st century workforce.

The MCPS Applied Learning Portal is an online resource designed to link high school students with volunteer, internship and job shadow opportunities in our community. The District is recruiting local professionals who may be willing to volunteer to provide these types of work-based learning experiences. In addition, educators will have access to the portal to identify professionals who may want to speak to students or provide classroom support. Registration is easy, so apply today to be an applied learning professional and help Missoula's youth better prepare for jobs in the 21st century!

Senior Project Mentors Needed
Two Missoula high schools are recruiting community volunteers for two upcoming service opportunities. Hellgate and Big Sky High Schools need hundreds of community volunteers to evaluate senior projects in mid-May. There are no special qualifications to serve as a project evaluator - everyone is welcome. Our talented students have spent hours on their projects and will inspire you in their presentations.

Click here to register to judge at Big Sky. To learn more, email Pam Courson at Big Sky at pcourson@mcps.k12.mt.us.

Click here to register as an evaluator at Hellgate. To learn more, email Beth Huguet at Hellgate at bhuguet@mcps.k12.mt.us.
