Expo Lecture Series
Featured Speaker: Charlotte Torgovitsky The California Native Garden - Alive with Natural Beauty
Join us at the Expo to learn how gardening with California native plants, and working with natural, organic methods, are smart choices that can save money and time. When your garden is in tune with California's ecology, you will spend less time on maintenance, and more time in your garden enjoying the natural beauty.
Charlotte Torgovitsky is a naturalist, educator, and garden consultant who has lived with her family in Novato for most of the last 28 years. An organic gardener since 1975, she is currently developing her own two-acre property. Working in a sustainable and resourceful way with native soils and plants, Charlotte is growing gardens that provide for family and friends, while also creating a sanctuary for wildlife. Charlotte's habitat is one of the gardens featured in the new book "The California Wildlife Habitat Garden" by Nancy Bauer.
Interested in our other speakers? Our full lecture schedule will be available on our website by the end of March.

MBA Contractors' Pavilion
Applications Now Available
Since the MBA Contractors' Pavilion was such a success last year, we have brought it back for 2013. In addition to serving as the hospitality hub for the Marin Builders Association, the Pavilion will also house table presentations for MBA contractors. These 8'x4' spaces are being offered for $250 this year. They are a great way for MBA contractors to promote their businesses and support the association.
Just ask Samantha Sargent of B Street Builders. "The MBA Pavilion was a great idea. It was nice to see the diversity and breadth of the MBA member contractors. I made a lot of good industry contacts, got some good leads, and a couple of jobs."
Space is limited, so sign up now. Download your application here .
