| This month, aside from our two BookDrive kickoffs, four sortings, three deliveries and one reflection, we had students go above and beyond to help get books into the hands of other kids:
The 2nd grade service learning group at The Wesley School made and sold bracelets resulting in a donation to BookEnds of $500!
Some enterprising kids sold lemonade during a heat wave day and were able to donate $100 to BookEnds!

It is with gratitude and best wishes that we say goodbye to BookEnds Program Director Matt Devine. All of us who had the joy of  working with him over the past 3 1/2 years were truly fortunate. Matt brought his spirit of fun and professionalism to every child and adult he encountered. The BookEnds program is truly better for all that he created and inspired. We wish him the very best in his new endeavor.
