FEBRUARY NEWSLETTER

Dear friend

Last month we shared with you some of our exciting plans for 2015. This month we are excited to announce that we are looking for someone to join our team as Program Director and Development Manager to help us carry out our mission of bringing the healing and empowering tools of yoga to youth.

As excited as we are to welcome a new staff person, we are sad that we will be losing the founder of the Seattle Branch. After 5 years at Street Yoga, Stephanie is stepping down from her current role as Co-Executive Director to be home with her son. Her last day will be March 20. She says,

This was a very difficult decision to make as I love Street Yoga - the mission, the work, and all of the wonderful people - with all of my heart. One of the greatest pleasures of my job has been collaborating with all of you. I am immensely grateful for the Street Yoga community. Although I will no longer be staff, please know that I intend to volunteer in the future and continue to be connected to this wonderful community and our shared mission.

Stephanie's departure is opening the door for a new member to join our team. You can read more about the open position on our website. Please help us spread the word!

With warm wishes,

Jessica & Stephanie

RENEW. REVIVE. RETREAT.
A day of respite for caregivers.  Make space for a day of physical, emotional and mental nourishment - a day away to rest, gather tools for self-care, reconnect with your motivation, and feel inspired to return to your caregiving role.

It is essential to take time for yourself when you spend much of your time caring for others. Yet, it can be difficult to have the time and money to do so. This retreat was designed especially for caregivers who are looking for the benefits of a retreat but can't spend hundreds of dollars to go away for a long weekend.

When: May 30

Where: Discovery Park Environmental Center

Cost: $80 including lunch; Group discounts available

Located in the city of Seattle, but in a beautiful and natural setting, you can take one day to let go of stress, relax, and connect with your joy.

"This time filled me up. I was feeling exhausted, a bit depressed, and like I was just having the blahs. It was a well-facilitated time to help me get back in touch with myself."
