DECEMBER NEWSLETTER

Dear friend

As the days grow shorter and darker, we hope you have time to rest, reflect, and spend quality time with loved ones. This precious time of year invites us to turn inward and connect with our inner quiet. When we can be still and listen with an open heart, wisdom speaks.

Soon we will transition to 2015, and all of us at Street Yoga hope to see you at one of the many events we have planned. Keep reading to learn about several ways to get involved this winter.

Please join us in the new year! We look forward to growing, learning, and building community with you.

Wishing you a peaceful close to 2014, and a bright start to 2015,

Stephanie & Jessica

TRAUMA STEWARDSHIP INSTITUTE

THIS FRIDAY!

Street Yoga is partnering with the Trauma Stewardship Institute for their day of Transforming Trauma on December 12, 2014.

Laura van Dernoot Lipsky will offer a compelling mix of personal insight, cutting-edge research, personal stories, and New Yorker cartoons to help us understand the cumulative toll of being exposed to suffering over time and gain concrete skills to reconcile it.

The Street Yoga community receives a generous discount for this training. You can use the code PARTNERSY to register for $60. For more information, visit our website.

Our partners are also looking for volunteers to help out that morning. If you are interested, please email stephanie@streetyoga.org.
