I have been involved with Cycle for Survival since it's inception.Very sadly, my dear friend, and founder of the event, Jen Goodman Linn lost her battle. After seven years of battling her disease, she passed away last July. I will continue to cycle until Jen's dream, of a world where Cycle for Survival is no longer needed, is realized.
At the age of 33, when Jen was diagnosed with sarcoma she chose to face it head on. When given a 50/50 chance she did not give up. Instead she did something extraordinary. She and her husband Dave started Cycle for Survival.
In just seven years, Cycle for Survival has raised more than $25 million for research on rare and underfunded cancers.
Jen's focus, strength, courage and determination never wavered and were awe inspiring.
