2013 marks my seventh Cycle for Survival. I have participated all these years to support and honor my dear friend Jen Goodman Linn. After seven years of bravely battling her disease, Jen passed away a little over a year ago. No matter what happened to her, Jen wanted to find a way to help others. She and her husband founded Cycle for Survival and in just seven years, over $25 million has been raised to help patients battling "rare" cancers. More than 50% of all cancers, including all pediatric cancers, are classified as "rare."
100% of every dollar raised by Cycle for Survival goes directly to Memorial Sloan-Kettering for research on rare cancers, paving the way for new, more effective therapies.
