Happy New Year!!!

JDCAP will be engaged in a lot of activity during 2013 and we look forward to your participation and support.

We have identified the following goals for this year;

Member facilities will participate in succession planning as a means to improve supervisory skills and to impact overall system enhancement. - We believe the strength of our programming is enhanced by the expertise of our supervisors and mid-management personnel and will be engaged in focused efforts to identify and build upon the strengths of our membership.

JDCAP members and staff will generate association standards to ensure consistently high quality service delivery. - The JDCAP Standards Workgroup will continue its efforts to provide members with a document that offers specific objectives toward program improvement.

JDCAP member facilities will remain a viable resource for counties. - We will develop improved methods for supporting the Juvenile Justice System Enhancement Strategy by collecting and utilizing data to drive decision-making and divert youth from further intrusion into the justice system.

JDCAP members will pursue efforts to maintain the viability of the association. - We intend to demonstrate the strength of our member driven organization by maximizing program efficiencies and sharing resources.
