Have you considered training in the Expressive Arts?
We would love to tell you about our certificate program!
An immersion into Expressive Arts practice is life-changing, both personally and professionally.
Expressive Arts integrates beautifully into a wide variety of professions and settings, including
therapy, healthcare, education, the arts, community building, and more. People of all ages and abilities can benefit.
We began teaching our training intensives in Jan. 2011. Seven graduates have completed both Level One and Two, and many more have finished Level One. Six advanced students are about to begin their Internship. Over 25 students are currently enrolled in the program, and they come from all over the US and Canada. The 25-hour intensives are proving to be a powerful forum for personal and professional learning and change.
Level One focuses on personal practice, and Level Two prepares students for a professional practice. A certificate is awarded for each level. We accept applications for Level One on it's own, or for both levels.

In the words of one graduate:
"Making the choice to cross the continent from B.C. to Florida
to attend Expressive Arts Florida Institute's training was an easy one for me. I was familiar with the expertise of the faculty, and I was able to participate in the training without having to make a major move in my life
EAFI's flexibility made it possible for me to attend the
6 intensives in 5 trips and do the rest from home. My internship and my electives were done in my home community,
which has been a huge benefit to my ongoing work here.
Visiting Florida in fall, winter and spring was also something I looked forward to. Even with the travel costs, the total expense compared favorably with other programs.
I especially appreciated the small intimate setting, and a team of very experienced faculty who gave the students a
lot of personal attention- both during the intensives and through ongoing individual advising. The faculty also demonstrated their working business model that is completely rooted in the expressive arts; they live and practice what they teach. I also benefited from working with other students from very diverse backgrounds who came from different parts of the continent as it demonstrated the diversity of the field to me.
I highly recommend this program for it's quality of teaching and the attention given to each individual student's contribution and progress in the program" Annie Rousseau, B.C., Canada
