International Skills Partnership Opportunities

British Council is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for organisations in the UK skills sector to visit China to develop a proposal for a foundation partnership project.


British Council, in partnership with the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills in the UK and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security in China, invites applications from consortia of UK colleges, universities, employers, sector skills councils, awarding bodies, skills academies and other training providers, for a travel grant to visit China. During this visit, successful applicants will meet candidate partner organisations in order to develop a partnership project proposal or proposals.
  
Successful applicants will receive a grant of £3 000 to cover travel costs. A further grant of £15 000 is available for the partnership that subsequently submits a successful foundation project proposal.
  
The visit will take place between 23 - 27 September 2013.
  
The closing date for submission of applications is 19 July 2013.
