British Council is pleased to announce new international skills partnership opportunities with selected training institutions in South Africa. These partnerships, the first of their kind with South African institutions, will be funded for one year, with the possibility of up to two years further funding for partnerships demonstrating significant impact.

Applications for travel grants are invited from UK institutions to visit prospective partnership institutions in South Africa, with a view to jointly producing full partnership proposals. Applications from sector skills organisations, awarding bodies, higher education institutes and employers in consortia with education and training providers are particularly welcome. Please note that this is a competitive process.

The closing date for travel grant applications is Monday 4 February 2013.
