It is possible that you have heard a report released recently that an individual was arrested in the church parking lot and that he was carrying a concealed weapon. A link to the story is HERE.  Please know that I have had a conversation with the Bloomfield Hills Department of Public Safety, and they have assured me that the incident was entirely unrelated to anything at Christ Church Cranbrook.  None of us has any reason to fear for safety. Although the police are withholding any details because of the ongoing investigation, the incident is, again, completely unrelated to our life and work.
