We are writing to let you know that we are planning a special reception after the 10:00 AM service to celebrate our progress regarding this year's Stewardship campaign. This Sunday is traditionally known as Consecration Sunday, a time when we try to make a concentrated effort to reach our goals. To date, 226 parishioners have turned in their annual pledges, which means that we have a ways to go to reach our goal of 500 pledges. If you haven't pledged yet, and as you feel God calls you, please take a moment to consider prayerfully and make your pledge this weekend. To date, we have been blessed by extraordinary generosity from those who have pledged - many for the first time. However, it is more important for everyone to pledge than for a few people to pledge on behalf of others. Pledging expresses in a material way the grace of God that is our life together as the body of Christ. Therefore it is a spiritual blessing and work of transformation everyone should take part in, no matter what our circumstances are. Giving is not something that the few do for the rest, but an activity that we all participate in based on the gifts that God has given us. Finally, as a reminder, we have a number of ways you can make your pledge:
- You can pledge online by clicking HERE.
- You can send in the pledge card by mail.
- You can drop your completed pledge in the offerings plate at this weekend's worship.
- You can call the Church Office at 248-644-5210.
God bless you and thank you! Hope to see you Sunday!
