Karen died this morning, August 31, 2015. There will be a funeral service on Friday, September 4 at All Saints' Episcopal Church. 171 W. Pike, Pontiac, MI. (248-334-4571)
There will also be a visitation at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home on Thursday, September 3 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Sparks Griffin Funeral Home is located at 46 W. Williams Street in Pontiac. (248-338-9288)
"In 2009, Karen was called to ministry with the people of All Saints', Pontiac, where she served as their transformational and faithful rector for 6 years. Karen also took her place among the councils of our diocese, as a member of the Commission on Ministry and the Trustees of the Diocese." (From the Diocese of Michigan.)
Karen also served at Christ Church Cranbrook as Honorary Associate Priest.
