Dear VBS Families,

Our week of fun is right around the corner.  We are busy organizing and planning a full day of educational fun for your children.  Please save this email to reference during the week.

IMPORTANT SAFETY DETAILS

New this year!!!
VBS begins and ends in the CHURCH!  Enter through the front doors of the church for both pick up and drop off.  

To ensure the safest environment for your children.
 Please sign your child in and out with their adult leader. PLEASE BRING IN YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE AT PICK UP.

Please have your children
wear closed toe shoes every day at VBS.

The children will tie-dye their VBS t-shirts on Monday.  Please wear clothes you don't mind getting stained with permanent color.

VBS OUTREACH

Let's help Children in the Dominican Republic WALK WITH JESUS in NEW SHOES.


 

Comfortable clean shoes are not always available for many children.  This year at VBS we will help children that need shoes in the Dominican Republic (DR).  CCC's youth will bring the collected shoes and money from VBS to distribute to children in the DR on their Mission Trip this July 2015. 


 

VBS kids can raise money by their own design (ex., lemonade stand, dog walking, etc.) or purchase new Crocs or Black Shoes. 


 

Each day at VBS during our opening celebration, kids that bring in money or shoes will be called forward, introduced, and given a prayer flag to hang in the church.

Volunteers, please bring your offering on Monday to show the children in your crews how this works.

BIBLE STORIES

MONDAY
Bible Point: God has the power to provide.
Bible Story: God provides for Elijah (1 Kings 17)

TUESDAY
Bible Point: God has the power to comfort.
Bible Story: God speaks to Elijah (1 Kings 19)
Key Verse: "He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others." (2 Corinthians 1:4)

WEDNESDAY
Bible Point: God has the power to heal.
Bible Story: God heals Naaman (2 Kings 5)
Key Verse: "He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds." (Psalm 147:3)

THURSDAY
Bible Point: God has the power to forgive.
Bible Story: Jesus dies on a cross and comes back to life. (Luke 22:31-24:12)
Key Verse: "You are a God of forgiveness." (Nehemiah 9:17)

FRIDAY
Bible Point: God has the power to love us forever.
Bible Story: Jesus promises us an eternal home. (John 14: 1-3)
Key Verse: "Whoever believes in him may have eternal life." (John 3:15)
