Greetings!   

We are very excited to be reaching out to our BYDS alumni [including alums from The Foundation School and Beth Yeshurun Day School] with this message of greetings. This is our first mass alumni email communication. It's a big first step for us, as we have thus far gathered over 1400 names with 700 email addresses of alumni contacts. That number is growing fast.

I know some of you on this alum email group are current parents, or you are engaged with BYDS or CBY in one or more ways. For the rest of you, who haven't been here on campus in recent years, we hope you will come visit us soon. In fact, this message offers one such opportunity to visit the new BYDS.

Here are two reasons why we're reaching out to you:

First, we hope this correspondence is a new beginning of keeping you up-to-date on happenings in our school. If you are interested in updating your contact information or letting us know what you've been up to, please fill out our very short alumni form at http://byds.org/alumni at any time.

Secondly, we would like to invite you back. BYDS has undergone a major face-lift over the past few years. We have a new, beautifully-designed school facility that is worth seeing. Improvements include our gorgeous centralized library, new cafeteria/assembly hall, new computer room, real classrooms (!), spectacular natural-lighting features everywhere, and so much more. We would love to show it to you, as we are very proud of it and happy to be occupying it daily. We want you to come and see your old school; you'll be amazed.

Our Annual Gala, "Diamonds and Dice," is coming up on Thursday, December 6, and we are having a special first-annual reunion before the Gala for alumni. You can tour our beautiful school, connect with old friends, and enjoy cocktails and hors d'ouevres free of charge. We would love for you to attend and stay for the Gala if you would like, but joining us for the alum reception itself will be a great way for you to check out the school and visit with classmates. Below you will see a link to register for the reception and a separate link to buy your ticket for the Gala. We are also extending a $25 voucher just for Alumni to be used in the silent auction. Regardless of whether you can attend the Gala or pre-reception, we invite you into our school to reconnect.
