Storm Water Tip
of the Month
Provided by the City of Buellton
Storm Water Tip of the Month
Place all recyclable metals such as clean aluminum foil and pie plates, metal cans of all types (aluminum, steel, tin, bi-metal and empty aerosol cans), pots and pans and other hard objects made out of metal in the designated recycling bins provided by your waste hauler. Remember to sweep up any metal shavings from metal fabrication work areas.
Water Conservation
Consider purchase of a Water Sense or Energy Star dishwasher or washing machine during a Holiday Sale Event. You can not only save water and energy but you could be eligible for a rebate. LaPointe's Appliance Center located in Buellton is a good place to start.

Advertising Opportunity for our Members
Because we are members of
Visit Santa Barbara (VSB), that means that you're invited to participate in their annual Visitors Magazine. Buellton will be sponsoring an introduction to give the lay of the land, but we encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity to participate and have a story written about your organization.
As VSB's sole fulfillment piece, the Visitors Magazine is sent directly to 33,000 visitors and members of the trade and press per year. In addition, it is distributed to 27,500 out-of-market and 24,500
in-market targeted locations delivering a combined readership of 600,000 (including digital views). And this year, there will be over 2000 hotel rooms in Santa Barbara that will have the magazine
in-room.

Saturday Service
 Don't forget that we now have Clean Air Express offering Saturday Service to Santa Barbara. Take the stress out of driving and parking and hop on the bus. The pick-up/drop-off is at Pea Soup Andersen's Restaurant on the Avenue of Flags across from the bronze children statue. The bus makes two runs throughout the day. Whether you have family who wants to come to Buellton or if you wish to go to Santa Barbara for the day, check out the Clean Air Express. |

The Buellton and Solvang Chambers are gathering together to celebrate the November Mixer by announcing the Harvest Cup Winner from the Scarecrow Contest. We'll also be recognizing our local law enforcement; The SB County Sheriff and the CA Hwy Patrol. Please join us as we celebrate "Tailgate" style and wear your your favorite team jersey or ball cap.
If you have anything Cubs (Click on Cubs to hear the song) related, this would be a good time to pull it out and represent!

We wish to thank all of you that contributed to the success of the Veterans Stand Down. Here's some of the ways you helped bring a smile to these brave men and women who served our country to keep us safe.

 The Creation Station Fabric & Quilt Shop is offering some fun activities in the next couple of months. Novermber 27th: Will be the Annual Gingerbread House Party in partnership with the Solvang Bakery. There will be 3 time slots and you must Pre-Register.
