It's finally happening.  Changes are coming to Buellton.  We can now see the framework going up and things are moving along.  We should see some of these businesses opening up this fall.

We are also aware that with change comes inconvenience.  We understand the traffic congestion we are experiencing and hope we can move through this process quickly.  We will continue to be advocates for our businesses.  In the meantime, we are all going to have to be patient and give ourselves a little extra time to move through our city.  Hopefully in the end, this will all be worth the wait.  You're more than welcome to contact the Chamber at any time and you are also welcome to offer comments to the City Officials during Public Comment at the City Council meetings which are held on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month.

Thank you Terravant Wine Company
Terravant
Joe Padilla and Laurel McCurdy hosted an overflow crowd of Chamber members and guests for the May Mixer. Terravant is one of Buellton's treasures, and the largest custom crush facility between Los Angeles and San Francisco. This is a perfect place to drink great local wines and dine on fine food.  Tours of the crush facility are available.
Thank you to all of you that contributed a raffle item.  Your support is much appreciated.

 Broadband Survey

www-abstract-globe.jpg

As a member of the EVT (Santa Barbara County Economic Vitality Team) the Buellton Chamber of Commerce is playing an active role in our economic future and that includes infrastructure within our county and community that may benefit businesses and residents alike.  Currently, we are discussing the need for broadband, along with the mapping and policy making involved with this infrastructure.  We would like to invite you to take a brief survey to tell us a little more about your internet service and the speed at which you are being served.  It's all in this survey and should only take a couple minutes.  Thank you in advance!

Vacant Commercial Spaces Available
If you or someone you know are looking for a commercial space to lease, look no more.  Buellton has some great opportunities for businesses looking to grow.  Being at the crossroads of Hwy 246 and Hwy 101, Buellton lends itself to a large amount of traffic and visibility.  Here is a list of some spaces available in Buellton.  We will continue to update this list as we learn of more spaces.  We also have vacant land for development and would be happy to offer you more information on those parcels if you would like to contact the Chamber.  Buellton is buzzing and now is the time to make the move and be a part of our growing community.
Close the Poop Loop
dog-walker.jpg The City of Buellton has launched a new pet waste campaign to encourage residents to pick up after their dogs and toss it in the trash.  Residents may receive a bone-shaped keychain flashlight by pledging to keep the community clean and put dog waste in the trash. Visit www.closethepooploop.org to take the pledge. Disposable bags are available at our local parks so there's no excuse to not pick up after our pets.  Thank you in advance for helping Buellton Close the Poop Loop.
