Time Flies
How many times have you said "I'm too busy; I don't have time." Is that an excuse or do we really not have time? The most successful people find time to do what they are passionate about. They find the time because they do things right the first time, prioritize and don't waste time on things that don't really matter in the long run. Reflect on what is important to you, those are the things you will always find time to fit in. If you really want to attend that meeting, have lunch with a friend, or simply sit down with a good book, you will make it happen. No one is ever "too" busy.
Time to go now; as they say time is flying and I have things that I want to do.

 . Come join us for an evening of outdoor fun. The Buellton Rec Center is hosting us at the Zaca Creek Golf Course and following the mixer, you're invited to stay and play a round of Disc "Frisbee" Golf and enjoy this beautiful asset we have in our City.
Our Mixers offer a great way to network and meet fellow members and members of our community. We encourage you to bring business cards because you never know who you might meet and want to do business with. Also, another way to promote your business is to donate an item for our raffle drawing. We always appreciate the generosity of our members and the recognition goes a long way when you put your name out there one more time. City Council Chatter
We have added a new feature to the newsletter. We'll be bringing you the highlights from the Buellton City Council meeting. We hope that you as Chamber members will be interested in the areas we feel are important. The agenda item we have highlighted this month is from the March 27th meeting. The Council comes to a conclusion regarding the need for a Board of Architectural Review Committee. This discussion begins near the end of this link. You may also be interested in item number 5 on the agenda regarding the discussion surrounding the denial of the Polo Village Project. The full audio is available at www.cityofbuellton.com. Santa Ynez Valley Humane Society Pet of the Month
Paris Domestic Short-hair Brown Tabby w/white 4 ½ yrs. F(S)
Paris is shy and slow to the starting line, but she finishes first. In her previous home, she greeted her owners with a musical chorus complete with several octaves and perfect pitch. She also enjoyed gently grooming her daddy's 2-day whiskers. She taught him how to hold still with a gentle paw to steady his face. Paris was indeed loved by the humans. It was the other cat who despised her so. She is here because her owners loved her enough to let her go. She is interactive and playful. Her favorite toy is a ball on a string. She came with her favorite blanket. If you bring the toy, and your love, she will be fulfilled again. We suspect that you will be too. Paris is microchipped and weighs 10lbs.

Buellton Bargain Days
We hope you got the closets cleaned out last month. Now it's time to work on the garage. Time to get ready for the 7th annual Buellton Bargain Day and city wide garage sale. This year it will be held on April 26th. Put out your signs and let people know where you are. Your trash is someone else's treasure. The Chamber has updated calendars throughout the area, so get ready for the bargain hunters and put some $$ in your pocketbook. Any leftovers or bulky waste will be picked up on May 3rd by Marborg.

It might be a photo of you, your office, a product, or whatever comes to mind. We ask that you send us up to 3 photos that we may use. Please be sure to name your photos so we know which member you are and when to use your photo. For Example: If my company is called ABC, then I would name my photos, "ABC 1", "ABC 2", and so on. Feel free to call us for more assistance if you're unsure. This will allow us to showcase your business in the proper way rather than using stock photos.
