From Sea to Table
Rachelle Lucas, the Visit Florida Food and Dining Insider, came to Clearwater Beach last fall to start shooting the first video in a series featuring restaurants with unique, local food and where it comes from.

We've got the Best Beach Town in Florida!
USA Today, the most widely read newspaper in America, today named Clearwater Beach the "Best Beach Town in Florida." The distinction caps an online poll that Gannett's flagship daily, which has a readership of more than 3-million, launched in January to determine Florida's best beach. Of the more than 30,000 votes cast, Clearwater Beach received more than 25 percent, making it "the clear winner," according to the USA Today announcement.
Save the Date for a "Sandtastic" Event! The City of Clearwater's Fun 'N Sun Festival and Sunsets at Pier 60 Daily Festival have joined together to showcase its award-winning beaches during ten sugar sand days and sunset nights with the debut ofFrenchy's Sugar Sand FestivalPresented by Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort from April 19-28, 2013.
Located just south of Pier 60 on Clearwater Beach, 1,000 tons of its world famous sugar sands will come to life in the Sugar Sand Walk Exhibition, an artistic walk-through display in a 14,000 square foot tent accessible for a small admission fee. Additional no-cost highlights of the event include Frenchy's Master Sand Sculpting Competition, sand sculpting clinics, speed sand demonstrations and a children's play area called the Sandbox.
Frenchy's Oasis Motel closed for a couple weeks in December while major renovations took place on the pool deck. In addition to the beautiful resurfacing, the pool is now HEATED! We're happy to continue making improvements for the enjoyment of our guests year-round. Come stay with us, you'll love it!
