IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LITTLE LIKE CHRISTMAS!
After an oddly warm Thanksgiving, we got our first significant snow. Last weekend the ski resorts opened Friday, only to shut down Sunday after unseasonably warm temps melted all the snow. Both Pine Hill locations held our annual Holiday Wreath Workshops Saturday to the sound of snow melting off the roof. A couple of nights ago Ellsworth reached 60 degrees with wind, rain and thunderstorms. It looks like fall 2012 wants to beat this past spring's wild ride! I'm beginning to believe the Wooly Bear Caterpillar's forecast of a mild winter.
While Pine Hill Nursery & Landscape in Kewadin is closed for the season (we are regularly in the office so if you have a question or would like to order a gift certificate, we are happy to help you out), Pine Hill Village Gardens in Traverse City is still open for business. Jeanine has beautiful wreaths, garlands and greens for sale to deck your halls as well as 25% off all Gift Shop* to help you save on your gift list.

DE-STRESS!
Hope you are able to take time out during this busy season to de-stress in nature; cut some greens to embellish your home or just to inhale the wonderful smell, take a walk and note the many changes in the landscape, or just stand in the sun and breath the fresh air. It will do you good!
