And we could not have done it without the tremendous support of our teachers, staff, parents and students for shopping! A HUGE thank you also to all the wonderful parent and teacher volunteers who came out to run the book fair! From set up to sales and breakdown, it was a "monstrous" task that could not have been possible without all of your many hands and hearts! |

Box Tops for Education Contest Winners
Drum Roll Please...
Thank you to everyone who donated box tops for our first campaign of the school year. After a lot of trimming and counting we now have our winners. The overall school winner, and the class that will receive an ice cream party for the most box tops collected is:
2nd Grade - Mrs. Wood - 694 box tops
We also had a winning class from each grade that will be receiving 5 PBIS tickets for each student in their class. The winners from each grade are:
Kindergarten - Ms. Estrada - 370 box tops 1st grade - Ms. Newman - 140 box tops 3rd grade - Ms. Cochran - 348 box tops 4th grade - Mrs. Johnston -314 box tops 5th grade - Mrs. Moses -214 box tops MG - Mrs. Vereen - 50 box tops
We had only one grade that had 100% participation which was 4th grade.
Also the grade with the overall most box tops collected was 3rd grade with 1,107 total box tops collected.
The total amount that we should earn for our school for this campaign is $645.50. (That is after collecting 6,010 bonus box tops and 445 special box tops certificates). This amount is added to the box tops that were also sent in last year between March and April. We will receive a check sometime in December.
Our next campaign will begin at the end of January and go through the end of February. Start collecting and trimming now. Our next campaign will have class containers competing to win for each grade. So no need to attach to sheets but instead save in a bag to be placed in classroom containers later on.
Thanks for helping our school earn money through Box Tops for Education. |
