BACK THE JACK - NOW through 9/26!
Donate Today!
BTJ Button

What is BACK the JACK and why should YOU give?

BACK the JACK is the annual fundraising campaign for the Nickajack Foundation (NESF). Cobb County funds do not pay for all of the curriculum and technology that make our school exceptional.  Parent donations through BACK THE JACK bridge the gap and fund important programs like our computer lab instructor, materials for our  computer and science lab and over $20,000 in teacher grants to fulfil their classroom needs.

How much makes a difference?

This year's goal is to raise $70,000 and EVERY DONATION HELPS - whether you can give $10 or $1,000! We will be placing apples on teachers' doors for every child with at least one donation in their name. The classroom with the most participation will receive a pizza/snowcone party!

New to Nickajack: PBIS
Positive Behavioral Intervention & Supports

Are your students talking about earning tickets at school for model behavior? Nickajack is excited to be implementing the new PBIS program for the school year that is a prevention oriented method used by school personnel to improve the social culture and behavioral climate of classrooms and schools.

By using positive reinforcement, modeling expected behaviors, and consistent redirection, our goal is to create students who are Respectful, Responsible, Role Models in all aspects of behavior and learning. This program is already being used through out Cobb County and the nation as a whole.
