Volunteer Opportunity for the FBI
Fathers Being Involved

Helping Hands

The counselors would like to enlist the help of the Fathers Being Involved!  We run a group on Monday and Thursday mornings from 7:20-8:00 AM called the D.R.E.A.M. Team.

D.R.E.A.M. stands for Demonstrating Respect Everyday to Achieve More.  This "team" or group is comprised of 12 male students from second thru fifth grade.  The primary goal of the program is to help students become successful lifelong learners and people of good character.

We are looking for guest speakers to attend our meetings and speak to the boys on various topics.  We feel that it is important to expose them to as many positive male role models as possible.  I have listed the meeting dates and topics below.  If there are any members of the FBI that would like to volunteer to speak to the boys on one of the following topics one morning from 7:25-7:45 AM (20 minutes), please email Nicole.Weber@cobbk12.org.  Thank you!

Upcoming topics:

March 20             Work Ethic

March 24             World of Work

March 27             Dress for Success

AdvanceED/SACS  Survey - Your Input Please
Parents: Please complete by March 21st

Every year, the district sends out a survey to gather information to assist with our school improvement process.   All parents are invited to participate via a paper survey. You should have received a letter from Dr. Hinojosa, a survey and an answer sheet in your child's red Tuesday Folder.   Please contact the school(678-842-5814) if you did not receive a survey.

Your input will provide useful insights into the performance of your student's school.  Responses will be used to assist with planning for improvement and in recognizing areas of strength.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and return it back to school by March 21st

Please use only a #2 pencil.  Your responses will be anonymous.

AdvancED/SACS is the association for accreditation of schools and colleges.

The deadline for participating in the survey is March 21.
