Summer Reading Challenge
Keep Reading Kids!
summer challenge
The challenge is not over yet so keep logging your minutes!

Use the free, handy, and easy Scholastic Reader Timer app to track and log minutes during this busy summer, or go to

Paper log sheets can also be used as well, and we will collect these at the conclusion of the Challenge in early September.

Keep fighting the 'Summer Slide' by encouraging your students to read all summer and log their minutes for a friendly competition!

All NES students are encouraged to participate, and top readers of our current K-4 grades will receive gift certificates to our fall book fair.  The top 20 schools with the most summer reading minutes will be featured in the Scholastic Book of World Records 2014!
