Greetings!
New World Stair Climbing Record Set!
PJ and three stair climbing friends formed a relay team to set a 24 hour stair climb world record in Jacksonville Florida on Jan 5th to raise awareness for the American Lung Association. They climbed for 24 hours straight, ascending 123,480 steps, 5,880 floors, and 76,440 vertical feet (that's 2.5 times up Mt. Everest). "It was brutal, but fun to see what we could do together as a team" said PJ. "Personally, it was validating to prove that I could keep going for that long despite spending less than an hour per week training for it, thanks to the X Gym methods!"Spark New Energy Into Your Fitness Resolution!By now, almost 25% of the NY resolution folks have become discouraged with their progress, the time it takes, food frustrations, etc. and are already considering throwing in the towel. If you are getting discouraged for any reason, be sure to revisit the reason you made the resolution in the first place and ask yourself "why." Then write down that reason and post it somewhere you can see it at the beginning of every day and at the end of the day (right before you go to sleep) so your subconscious will work on it for you and help you out!

P.S. Stay on track with your fitness resolution by remembering the why starting today!
I wrote about how too much exercise can be bad for your heart in a previous newsletter and we all know what's bad for the heart is also usually bad for the brain, but here is some obvious evidence to back that theory up.
It looks like genetically engineered vegetables causes obesity, along with significant changes in the digestive system and major organs, including the liver, kidneys, pancreas, genitals and more in animals according a recent 10 year long study. Yet another reason to be sure and stay away from GM foods by eating organic exclusively!
