Next Madison area Julian Gathering: July 13 at 7:15pm
Madison-Area Julian Gathering
Wednesday, July 13, 7:15 - 9:00 PM
St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church
What is a Julian Gathering? A Julian Gathering is open to everyone and you are welcome at all times. We support each other in the practice of contemplative prayer and contemplative spirituality. These gatherings are initiated and supported by the Order of Julian of Norwich (www.orderofjulian.org) and have the quintessentially Anglican writings of St. Julian of Norwich at their core. They are for all who want to deepen their life of faith through the practice of contemplative prayer, for beginners as well as those already practicing. Each meeting includes time for contemplative prayer and reading/discussion of Bl. Julian's revelations. Don't worry if you've never practiced silent prayer before, we can set your mind at ease. We meet the second Wednesday of each month from 7:15 to 9 PM. For questions or additional information, please email Susan Fiore, ObJN at slfiore@mac.com

-social justice networks and organizations (in your area, and national)
-self-evaluation check lists
-websites, blogs
-visual media: animated series, graphic novels, art pieces and installations, info-graphics
-reports and data information (particularly in your area)
-videos, movies
-books, articles, magazines
-age appropriate children's materials to be used in conversations about race and culture

Prayers for Parishes
The diocesan Commission on Mission and Development has prepared a cycle of prayers for the congregations of the Diocese of Milwaukee.
July 10, 2016 - Zion, Oconomowoc
Holy Father in heaven, our Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer, you have planted your churches throughout southern Wisconsin for the benefit and welfare of your people and the glory of your kingdom: Give us an abiding sense of your presence, that old wounds may be healed and new life may begin. Grow in us that we may nurture one another. Equip us to carry your Gospel to the world. Inspire us with your joy that others may be drawn through us to you. We pray in the precious name of Jesus, the Christ, who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God, now and forever. Amen.
