We need YOUR Support! We have campers who need scholarships, we have supplies that must be replaced from last year's flood damages, and we want to bring FOOD PACK to Camp this summer!
Camp Webb is asking for your generous support both financially and for collections. Camp cost is $375-$400 per camper. A $200 scholarship helps get one child to camp. We also want to bring the FOOD PACK program to camp this summer. This is a fantastic way for our campers to create food packs that are then shipped overseas to feed people. This is one way our campers make an immediate difference to change issues of hunger in the world. The cost to have the FOOD PACK program is $1,300. We are asking for your support to bring this incredible program to camp this year - THANK YOU!
Contact Carla to schedule donations pick up (mccook@diomil.org) and send financial contributions to Rev. Carla McCook; make check payable to Diocese of Milwaukee, Memo: Camp Webb, 804 E. Juneau Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53202.

COLLECTIONS:
We are now collecting art supplies: glue, fabric paints, large bottles of art paints, construction paper, poster boards (all colors), embroidery threads/floss, safety pins, rice, markers, colored pencils, crayons, scissors (small, adult sized), printer paper, and magazines.
Also costume pieces: anything you might expect to use in your pageant plays, super hero capes, silly hats, straw hats, cowboy hats (all kinds of hats), hula skirts, and princess crown, large robes, etc. Any type of clothing or accessory that would make a great costume piece. Our campers use these items for our variety show and other times during the camp week. Remember these are big kids and teens - costumes should be teen-adult sizes.
If you have other items or ideas you think camp might be able to use, please contact Carla McCook at McCook@diomil.org
Our theme for this year's Camp is "Feed My Sheep," and we will be focusing on hunger in the local community and around the globe. Campers will experience a Hunger Dinner and Melanie Stewart will be our guest for a day to talk with our Leadership Campers about hunger issues in Milwaukee Public Schools. We are also collecting non-perishable foods to bring to a local food pantry.
CAMP REGISTRATION: Full! Another successful year of signing up kids for camp. CAMP STAFF: Hired! We now have all the staff that we need.

Learning to Walk in the Dark
Is all that is light good, and darkness bad? Barbara Brown Taylor challenges us to question our long-held associations. She asks readers to consider all that the dark teaches us about courage, about finding our path when the way is uncertain, and about feeling God's presence guiding us through the night. With charm and wisdom, Taylor takes us with her on her own journeys into darkness, and shares the rich spiritual world it brought to light.
