HOMEWORK GRADING PARTY! More than 1,800 people have enrolled in cat yronwode's Hoodoo Rootwork Correspondence Course-- and to graduate, they must turn in 8 pieces of homework. Every month we hold a work-party at which we look over incoming homework. All are welcome, whether students or not! We meet at 5:00 PM at the shop, and PIZZA IS FREE. Hello Everyone!
This is Leah Rivera, one of the many helping hands at Lucky Mojo. Our dear Miss cat has been enjoying the sun in beautiful Forestville and working on her train layout. Just last night she showed me the picture of what she was working on, and I swear I thought it was a picture of a full-size scene. It took three looks before I understood it was the miniature railroad!
While Miss cat has been "working on the railroad", I've been inside avoiding the heat here in Denton, Texas, our own "Home of Happiness". I completed all 180+ of the candle product pages and they are online. I hope everyone is finding their sunny spot this July, either inside or out.

The World's Smallest Church gets some elbow room. However, you won't find it in the charming candle lit courtyard, nor hiding behind the altar full of saints and gods, and nor even hung from the hand painted gilded ceiling. This elbow room is in cyber space at the online home of Missionary Independent Spiritual Church. Thanks to the efforts of Deacon Millett and the rest of the MISC team, our candle ministry has its own services page, featuring the latest PayPal tools to help you arrange for your lights to be set.
Take a stroll down the page of our candle services and you will see the cheery PayPal button inviting you to purchase your favourite candles set on the altars of Missionary Independent Spiritual Church. You have the option to easily purchase 1, 3, 7, or 13 candles, or a combination of these; write out your petition; and pay immediately via PayPal or credit card.
The Candle Ministry is just one of the services offered by Pastor catherine yronwode and Pastor Katrina Mead. Readings, Spiritual Consultations, Baptisms, Blessings, and Life Ceremonies are offered at the World's Smallest Church, in person and by appointment with members of the Association of Independent Readers and Rootworkers (AIRR) such as Miss Elvyra and Miss cat. For those who can not travel, the church offers free online prayer services at the Crystal Silence League, where one may request a prayer, and help pray for others.
Additionally, Miss Leah had completed more then 180 new candle product pages for MISC that provide many more educational links along with a direct link to order an identical candle from Lucky Mojo to be sent to you while the church sets your candle. This is a great way to back up any work you need done. So thank you for your patience while we continue to improve our spiritual home. It's been eight years since the founding of our church, with the moving of the building on Laughlin Road as the Burgess Bus Stop to its present location.
Look for resumed newsletters from the Crystal Silence League and Missionary Independent Spiritual Church before the end of summer. We will keep you posted with other exciting news.
