Starting this year, we decided to try out something new. In the past, we released a new
menu with the beginning of the new school year. This time around, we opted for an 18 month cycle. This ensures the life of your prices for longer as well as eliminates additional paper waste output from Basil Tree. The new menu features the addition of a few items as well as some updates to existing items. While you anxiously anticipate the arrival of those final holiday gifts to get in from Amazon before it's too late, keep an eye out for our lovely green and purple to show up in your mailbox too!
 
Below is a preview of the changes to expect ahead in the new pages. After much deliberation and trial in our kitchen, we created some delicious new options for you to try out.

Breakfast-
  • ALL hot breakfast items available for as low as 6 person minimum (unless otherwise specified)
  • Individual Greek Yogurts (vanilla and berry) 
  • Continental PLUS Value package now includes a full count of yogurt 
Sandwiches- "Just Wraps"  option has been added to the sandwich selections, for when you're not really in the mood for bread

Hot Sides- Mexican Rice to pair, perhaps, with our Fajita Chicken or Beef bowls

Entree Value Packages- "Taste of Thai," including Chicken or Veggie Pad Thai, Coconut Curry Veggies, Asian Tossed Salad, and chocolate dipped strawberries (which just so happens to be a completely GF menu!)

Charcuterie Platter- an elegant assortment of meats and cheese with accompanying bread and spreads
New items will not be available until January 1st
 

You will notice some price increases across the board. This is due to increases in living wages for our employees as well as increased costs of our raw goods.  As always, we work hard to provide you with excellent customer service, on-time delivery and delicious products created from high quality, sustainable ingredients! 

Also, in an effort to reduce paper we are only mailing menus to customers who have ordered in the past year. If you do not receive a paper menu by January 1st 
and would like one, just click here and fill out our menu request form and we'll send one out right away.

STAFF NEWS!
  • We welcomed Frank to the team as our newest kitchen hand and delivery driver!
  • Joaquina, one of our sandwich crafters, is happy to announce that she is expecting! We're excited for a Basil Tree Baby in 2017!
  • Josh, catering manager and the man behind the curtain, will be traveling around Australia for 3 weeks at the beginning of January. Wishing him Bon Voyage!
